newbie can't program demo

Hi

I'm new to this. I have just bought a Easypic fusion v7 board and installed the compiler and drivers for windows 7 x64 (installed with administrator privileges) into the c:\ drive of my windows 7 PC, the link LED is on and the power LED is on.

I am trying to program the Demo Program. When I press "Build and Program" the programming suite appears but the active and data LEDs stay unlit. The PIC has not been programed.

What am I doing wrong?
