mP v.7.0.1 - IDE is using a CPU core on VTFT projects

#1 Post by VCC » 04 Nov 2017 08:25

Hi mikroe team,
since I am on reporting problems these days, here is another one. While a VTFT project is open by mikroPascal, it uses one CPU core, almost at its maximum. There is a background thread (I hope it's a background thread, not the main one), which heats up the CPU for nothing. When a non-VTFT project is open, or no project at all, the IDE stays idle as any normal application.
See attached screenshot of TaskManager with mikroPascal process, while a VTFT project is open.
I've seen this back in v.7.0.0, but I forgot to report it. :(

One more detail: if the application is minimized, it goes idle (0% CPU usage). If restored, it goes back to one CPU core usage.

Hi,

Thank you for reporting this, I have passed this to our developers.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
