Setting oscillator frequency less than 1 MHz

Hi All,

I want to run the MCU at 500kHz speed, but it seem it is not possible to set this in the compiler. Since MHz must be given in the edit box, I tried to set the frequency to 0.5 MHz. Is seems the minimum number allowable there is 1, so I cannot find the way how to enter frequency lower than 1MHz.
Can you solve this issue or suggest a way how to set 500 kHz for the oscillator?

Hi,

That is correct. The clock cant be set under 1MHz.
I will see with the developers if it is possible to achieve on dspic.
Tell me with what micro controller are you trying to lower the frequency ?
