And a year later, they released the same mistake in the PIC32 compiler. They don't fix bugs and they don't learn either.

I hope apologies can be followed by action. It is 11 months since this problem was initially reported and acknowledged and 2 months since the last message. Please provide us with an update on the progress to fix it.

I wouldn't be hopeful. I told them in August 2016 about a major DPI bug in mikroProg, as of today they still have no plans to fix it. And how about this one: reported October 2012, now it's five years later not fixed.

This bug has not been fixed in the new release. Do ME have any intention of fixing this bug?

I read your colleague's post about DPI, and as a professional developer with experience on this, I didn't find his excuses for inaction convincing, especially considering ME's record with fixing bugs in general. And remember, ME fixed that bug very quickly when they bothered looking at it. Unfortunately it was forgotten after emailing it to me.
