Re: restart help,advice please

Re: OLD VERSION MIKROBASIC WITH EASYPIC7. IS IT POSSIBLE?
i was reading this out of general interest in multi monitors. i used 4 old crt's with win 98 and it was easier then. now i have a 37 in flat tv that rarely gets used for tv but is great as my laptop second monitor! i dont know about the compilers/ etc but i can sure play 4x freecell games. if they a...

Re: Vpp too low with a PICflash2
not much help here but,,i had this problem sporadically with an icsp cable from the ezp5 to an offboard 18f8722. similar setup since picflash is in the ezp5/6. it was a mystery because it worked perfect most times. you might learn something with a series resistor,1k,10 k in pgm line since it takes l...

Re: Beginner, where is list of commands? and what is dim?
i enjoy this on a part time basis as a hobby ,so i have difficulty keeping up. i think a "compile LITE", like the old tiny basic would be a good way to get beginneers off the ground. i feel overwhelmed by the the power of the pro version, but it is too much for mer to master. ive always felt good wi...

Re: Easypic 4 with 18f8720 -- won't program
oh i forgot,
a nice mount is "SCHMART BOARD", its easier to place the chip, has tiny grooves with solder in them. ez solder
u can get free samples from microchip. try it,pay shipping
i would suggest the 8722/23. no need for xtal unless timing is critical.
i think your chip is good.??

Re: Easypic 4 with 18f8720 -- won't program
i use 8722, internal osc with same setup, icsp from ezp5.
8720 needs xtal osc huh?
i did not load all pins till later, was ok
i run ports back to ezp board to use leds!
good luck
