hi i would also like to know the answer to this as i am experiencing the same problem. The ENC28 never recovers and has to be rebooted.

Hi guys, i am still having trouble with the Ethernet library. item 1 Firstly when i go away and back again to my web page it is fine but it will only do this up to the amount of sockets available. if i alter the sockets setting to 4 i can then load the web page 4 times before it stops. It appears to definitely be linked to the sockets setting. Do you have a demo that i can use for the 18f45k22 and the serial ethernet card or click card? Paul.

My problem is that if i set the sockets for 3. i can load the webpage o.k then close it, open it again but after opening it 3 times the web page will not be served ever. what could cause this?

I have had great success with the MCP23S017 port expander on a project but i have decided to use the 09 on this project and i cannot get it to respond at all.
