Re: Question: Ethernet_putConstString and Ethernet_putString
Thank you very much for your replay. I have seen the examples but my question is more on the internal mechanism of how those two functions works i.e., what triggers data transmission and so on.

Re: Default Encoding Scheme for Ethernet Library
Okay I am almost sure it is UTF-8, just in-case anyone would have such question for the future.
I wrote a java application that sends string and I was displaying the received data on the LCD, only when I set the encoding of the stream to UTF-8 I started to see results.

Default Encoding Scheme for Ethernet Library
Hi I am using the Ethernet_getByte() and it says that it returns an 8 bit character. My question is, what On what encoding scheme? Is it UTF-8 or what? I want to send data from a java application to the microcontroller and I need to know the correct encoding scheme so that I encode my sent data acco...

Ethernet and Interrupt on PIC18F87J60 vs Ethernet_doPacket()
Hi I have a question for you guys and I hope I can get some guidance. I want my microcontroller to constantly do some process (let us say waiting for USER input on touch panel) BUT the device should perform some other function once a data is received on the Ethernet, i.e., keep doing task-1 until an...

Re: Compilers Price are not realistic !
Thank you tpetar for updating my information, I didn't want to sound un-realistic when I said MikroE prices are cheaper than the others so I said they are not different. U made the life easier in proving that MikroE prices are really lower than the other :) thx. So from noting that MikroE provides: ...

Re: Compilers Price are not realistic !
Hi First of all, the price that is set by MikroE is not different from the prices of the other companies, I advise you to check. On top of that I have been using MikroC since my Undergraduate days and I am very pleased with their products. I give it to the guys that, they are very fast in developing...

Question: Ethernet_putConstString and Ethernet_putString
Hi I am reading the documentation and the provided examples in which the Ethernet_putConstString and Ethernet_putString are used but quite frankly I can't see when the data will be transmitted. I mean u are saying "This is MAC module routine. It stores one byte to address pointed by the current Ethe...

Having a CC1100 board like the CCRF click board
Hi Since you guys have the CCRF click board already running on the CC2500, is it possible that you replace the CC2500 chip with CC1100 chip so that we get another RF board but with the capabilities of the CC1100 (as far as I know the CC1100 and CC2500 are very close in design and hardware pin config...
