Hi Filip,
I posted exactly this to the topic you linked, but it was never put on the enhancement list!
I posted on the 21 Sep 2016 00:17, my post is on page 3.
This might be a coincidence but almost funny that the inline function keeps getting ignored.

Re: Most desired upgrades and enhancements for MikroE compil
Please add the 'inline' function for dsPIC (or all compilers where it is missing) to the list.
I would like to give my vote to this feature.

Re: I wish mikroC support specificity of inline function!
Hi Filip, we know it is not your fault that this feature still has not been implemented. So at this point I will ask you to talk to your manager and the person overseeing the compiler. It is actually not correct to put this feature on the "wish list". This is a basic feature not something that would...

Re: With variables declared locally in main(), prog doesn't
Hi everyone,
I just ran into this problem as well with the current Version of mikroC PRO for dsPIC (6.2.0).
It doesn't seem to be fixed yet.
Please check again MikroE Team.
Thanks,
Robin

Re: Ghost errors?
Hi, Thank you for your reply but your workaround is actually exactly what the problem is. Here is the bug in the spell checker: When I write #include "parent.h" I am already including chilc.h because of the #include "child.h" inside the parent.h. The compiler knows this file already and I don't need...

Re: Serial Bootloader for DSPIC devices
Hi, A USB bootloader is a great extra but a serial bootloader would acutally make a lot of sense because all dsPIC devices would support serial bootloading. There are only a few dsPIC models that actually have USB. It is not a feature that almost all of them have, rather the other way around. Accord...

Re: Ghost errors?
Hi Filip,
sorry for the delay but I just didn't find the time to create a simple example project.
So here is a project that shows the problem.

Re: I wish mikroC support specificity of inline function!
Hi,
over 2 years (4 years from the first post here) went past now.
Do you have any news on the 'inline' feature in mikroc?
With this post I want to emphasize the importance of this feature for me and other users of your product!
Best regards,
Robin

Re: Ghost errors?
I have a very similar bug report regarding the spell checker. I'm using mikroC PRO for dsPIC v.6.2.0 I get the red squiggeles rarely for no reason and I was wondering why, so I investigated where they came from. I found that when I define a #define in a header file (child_header.h) and included this...

Re: sscanf in mikroc
Hi,
have you made any progress on this issue?
When are we going to get sscanf as part of MikroC?
Regards,
Robin
