Re: unexplained Exceptions being generated!?

I wouldn't be waiting and hoping if I were you. Their PIC32 compiler hasn't been updated in years. Device support dates back to 2015, there are bugs much older than that. I wouldn't be surprised if it never sees another update. I sincerely advise you to cut your losses and migrate to a professional ...

Is ME using a different calendar to everyone else? I wish I had a dollar for every piece of misinformation I saw posted on the forum by ME staff.

Re: Window Sizing Problem - Win 7

Filip, Why has this bug been left over one year? What is the reason for leaving the bug? Standard practise for ME. So is giving misinformation on the forum. This bug has been reported for at least 3 years. It's normal for them, and don't expect a fix soon. Their software department is hopelessly un...

Re: adding new reserved words to ide

I agree with this suggestion. Integer names are a bit of a mess in C, so many people use typedefs, eg uint64 instead of "unsigned long long"

Re: What a disappointment

MikroElektronika SHOULD NOT be advertising that this and similar PICS are "supported". They also should not be falsely advertising that their "PRO" compilers are "constantly" updated with new features and devices. Aside from leaving bugs unfixed for years, they are struggling to add basic device su...

Re: PIC32MM support

Sorry but you are wrong, "Pro" is not for professional but for profit. You're welcome. Exactly. But the fact remains that they are marketing this compiler as a professional tool which is "constantly" updated. This is why there are so many upset customers on the forum who feel scammed. In some juris...

Re: PIC32MM support

Soon you should notice that those are not empty promises and "automated replies" which we give for every suggestion. Thank you for staying with us! 2.5 years later, still no PIC32MM support. Neither is there support for PIC32MK, PIC32MZ-DA, etc. This compiler is marketed as a professional toolchain...

Re: Serial (RS232) 4x16 servial display

As a longtime user of Mikrobasic, I don't agree that it is poorly documented. The help file covers pretty much everything. The conversions library has a function WordToStr to convert a int16 to a decimal string. If you want to convert the ADC register to a binary string (I don't see why), as an expe...

Re: Broken project settings dialog in v. 7.0

This bug has not been fixed in the new release. Do ME have any intention of fixing this bug? I read your colleague's post about DPI, and as a professional developer with experience on this, I didn't find his excuses for inaction convincing, especially considering ME's record with fixing bugs in gene...

FAT32 library question

Hi, I want to know if it is possible to include the FAT32 library files (.c, .h, .emcl) in the project folder itself, and reference them there, instead of through the Library Manager. I need to make changes to a couple of the files and collaborate on the project folder, so it's better this way. I tr...

Re: Mistake in V7.0.0

There is a three year minimum wait before they resolve reported issues. I had to wait over five years before they fixed some of the problems I was having, if your lucky they may work on it after they finish adding visualtft to the other compilers but don't hold your breath. I agree with this, there...

Re: Window Sizing Problem - Win 7

This bug has been reported several times in recent years. Last I heard ME had no plans to fix it.

Your only option at the moment is to change your Windows DPI settings to 100%.

Well it's a year later and they have no idea of a release date. I have seen ME promise things "soon" and they didn't materialize for years. They were just stringing along their customers in the forum.
