Re: Administrator
I've heard this excuse (I have contacted our developers, and I will get back to you with some update as soon as possible.) before... How hard can it be??? I used reshacker (advise from this forum) to change the accessright to 'asInvoker'. If I can do this, why can't you? It is stupid to demand Admin...

Administrator
This version, again, also requirers Administrator rights. I asked about this with version 6.4, mind you, this was 2014! this was the answer: "There was a change in the last Windows update provided by the Microsoft where the UAC security behavior is changed. We will fix this in the next update/releas...

Re: Adding device support to compilers
It's still not clear to me.
I can load any .mpas file in the compiler, but I cannot compile a single file, it always needs a project. Since a project requires a device type, which is not yet supported, I don't know how to continu from this point. It's a bit catch22.

Re: Adding device support to compilers
I looked at the .mpas and .mlk files and they shouldn't be very hard to create from the MC .inc files.
It's the .mcl I need to know how to create this. Is compiling the .mpas sufficient?

Re: timer
There is always one and only one that will overflow first because a uC can only execute one instruction at the time.
During the ISR the uC will disable all other interrupts until it exits (retfie).
If another overflow triggered an ISR, that will be the one to be handled next etc.

6.6.3
Hi all,
is this an update or is it a full install requiring a deinstallation first?

Re: FAT32_Read read line
When you read a file from an sd card you read (blocks of) bytes. You will have to interpret the data you read.

I'd say compare the datasheets. A 'K' device may be pretty different from a non'K' device.

Re: VPP Voltage Error
I do not think so. Take a multimeter with ohm capabilities or some kind of connection tester and check for yourself. Page 13 says that the MCU power supply comes from pin 1. Makes sense to me. So just use it! No matter if you can use an external supply, readings will be wrong if a basic number of el...

Re: VPP Voltage Error
It should be in the documentation. I defnitely found it there & it can be found on the mE website.

Re: VPP Voltage Error
As a matter of fact I do. I read your posts again and then it came to my mind that you powered the board from a separate supply. Let me make it clear that I do not know the programmer you use (I use PicKit2/3), but a programmer should supply all five lines necessary to program a PIC (+5, Vpp, Clk, D...

If you use two supplies make sure they have a common ground.

As usual it's all in the datasheet...read the section about PORTB or do a search for "pull"

Re: Warning about new version (6.6.2)
And they still are not able to build an executable (6.6.1) that does not need Administrator rights... And errors in the help that were pointed out to mE still are there. I am really wondering how the quality process of mE works. As far as I can see they either have no list of bugs or they just don't...
