Re: IDE Request
Hi, Out of interest I installed the demo version of the recently released mikroPascal Pro for ARM version 4.7.0 just to see if the IDE tweak I proposed here (and janni seconded) had made it into that particular compiler release. I was a bit disappointed to see that it hadn't and therefore I'm not ho...

Re: EEPROM Writing and then Reading VARIABLE Strings
Hi, the missing 20mS delay between transitioning from write to read was almost certainly the reason why you weren't reading back recognisable data. However I think you may run into problems when you try to store or read back an SSID or password that is actually 16 characters long (which is the maxim...

Re: IDE Request
Hi, Unfortunately version 6.6.2 came and went without any change to the IDE. I know it's likely to be a long time before there are any more updates but could you please put this request forward to the team again. Thanks. It's an absolutely trivial change to make that will take only a couple of secon...

Re: USB Driver.
This is one of many requests (though perhaps one of the earliest) from various topics dotted throughout the forum enquiring about the state of development for a USB library for mikro(x) for AVR. This particulary request never received a reply but the reply for those that did, almost without exceptio...

IDE Request
I see from recent updates that you have someone looking at IDE enhancements. May I propose a couple of simple ones: From the help file: ' Auto Hide When an auto-hidden window loses focus, it automatically slides back to its tab on the edge of the IDE. While a window is auto-hidden, its name and icon...

Re: New release of mikroC for AVR
The new FT90x compilers have included a USB library from release day one. A quick search shows (potential and presumably current) AVR compiler customers have been requesting (and been tacitly promised) a USB library for about 5 years now. May I ask if plans for the addition of an AVR USB library hav...

Re: EasyPIC 7, MikroProg ver.2.30 and PIC16LF1455 programmin
Thanks, I guessed that was the case. I also had to guess what the wiring modification was... My suggestion was really that if someone from Mikroe had taken the time to actually document what the wiring modification was then this forum would turn into a source of valuable information that would help ...

Re: EasyPIC 7, MikroProg ver.2.30 and PIC16LF1455 programmin
Actually, no worries. It turned out to be a pretty simple fix requiring only 2 wires. Move the 3 jumpers on J18 to the USB position. Connect the newly-exposed top-left pin of J18 (the pin nearest the word 'I/O') to a spare RC0 header pin. Connect the middle pin of J18 to a spare RC1 header pin. The ...

Re: EasyPIC 7, MikroProg ver.2.30 and PIC16LF1455 programmin
if you want to program PIC16LF1455 on EasyPIC v7, you need to manually connect proper programming pins I just received my EasyPIC v7 today (to replace my ageing EasyPIC v2) and the first chip I wanted to work with is the PIC16F1455. Of course it's not being recognised properly - being identified as...

I don't think they have the staff to do that level of support I wasn't suggesting they did - and I wasn't even proposing that they consider it. The point I was trying to make (though in a rather wordy way) is that opening up the source to the libraries (which all the major compiler companies do) co...

Sorry for the delay. We've given it quite a thought as there are both pros and cons with going public. Our plan is to release the source of several libraries soon, and to determine our future course based on the feedback. Please, be patient.- Is it really 3 years since I asked for the mP library so...

I was sorry to see that this minor change couldn't be included in 3.0.0.2, as it's completely trivial to implement compared to some of the other things I know you must be working on. All that is required is a simple change to the (Delphi) ActionManager1 -> AnimationStyle property to "asDefault" inst...
