Ah, it's a old trick.. But always add .5 to the number then it will round to the correct int.

ICON size..

I was wondering if there was a way to increase the icon size in the compiler? Or maybe have the option of text and icons together. There are a bazillion icons across the top of the screen that I have no idea what they are fore unless I roll the mouse over them. Sure, the build/program icon and other...

GLCD & LCD from Easypic4 compatable with Easypic6 ?

I'm thinking about getting the EasyPic6 board. But wander if the displays are compatible between the two boards? As in can I use the GLCD display from EasyPic4 as a direct plug in the EasyPic6? I know the two boards use different ports and that's actually the driving force for me to change. But I'm ...

Boy is my face red. That's not how I read the post.. But all's well. I have been using the 'old' software and came back here to see what's been going on while I was busy and Wow.. A new version. Sorry I read/took the post wrong. I'll have to see what I need to do to get my old junk to compile. Thank...

So let me understand this.. We payed good money for the 'old' version that included all future updates. So you now come out with a different version and stop development on our original version. Now you expect us to be happy to plunk down even more money to get what we were promised in the first pla...

16f526

Please include the 16f526 support in your compiler. It's a good little chip, with 2 comparators, 3 a/d's and only 14 pins. and less then a buck in quantities of 25!

Library function usage.

I like the idea of being able to hit ctrl-space to get a fuctions usage. But really, it can be wanting. For example, the button() function. Hitting the ctrl-space function says it takes 3 unsigned char's. But what they represent is a mystery. I search all the PDF's provided for the compiler and foun...

I am very interested in this board. But with it costing $28.00 and shipping $25.00 makes it ridicules.

Pot shafts.

It would be nice to have a little shaft on the trimmer pots. While adjusting the pots for the a-d converters, I am starting to tear up the adjusting slot.

Re: @everyone

I just brought 3 more LCD'S(brand new) and they are just showin the black boxes ... i have varied the crystal values ... set different delays .. almost everythin .. You don't happen to have your port pulled high/low? Considering you are using the port, there should be no need to pull up/down the po...

Have all of you who had ordered the EP4 earlier received the boards already? I am waiting for the delivery to be normal before I place my order. I am aware of the delivery hiccups when this board is initially launched. Thanks. I received my board today.. It took a month to find it's way to my place...

-- it shipped --

Well, I finely received mail saying my EasyPIC4 board shipped this morning. They expect it to spend a few days in customs and then take the scenic route to the US. So I figure 2-3 weeks yet. But at least I heard something.

Considering this seems to be the only communications we have with you guys. How about posting expected sale to ship times on boards? Sending money for something and not hearing anything back is not good for customer relations.

Just a thought,

Order Status?

I put in a order last week. I only received a message from 2checkout that took my money. But nothing from MikroElektronika ot who ever the ordered go to be processed. I'm used to having the company send me a message or something. One other strange thing is I ordered the EasyPIC4 but the mail from 2c...
