Not sure why in the _simulator_ I'd want to use an ICD? That said this post was intended, first, applying to the 8051 _simulator_, and in general to all device _simulators_. So, I still maintain, that in a _simulator_ it having a reset is needed. BTW, and this is off topic, with respect to the 8051,...

Simulator Reset Options
This is a copy of a wish list item for the uC Pro PIC. I posted it again to register my interest in this feature in BOTH the dsPIC and the 8051 (in fact all) of the simulators. How does one "Reset" a device in the simulator (debugger)?
Odd, but I see no way in the simulator to reset a device. Is this by design or have I missed something in the documentation?
