I had already read the Brief introduction to Bootloaders . The location C:\Program Files\MikroElektronika\mikrobasic\examples\p16\bootloader16 does not exist in the latest distribution. As for helpfulness, the documentation for TinyBootloader is about a million times better as far as explaining boot...

Posts like this go against releasing source codes for our libraries. You've got a full working source code for bootloader, now you want more help on it. Imagine we are allowed to give you all other sources, what would support system look like? Pray tell where might one find this full working source...

I need a bootloader for a PIC16F88 using the internal 8MHz oscillator and with adequate documentation to allow me to write my own interface so I can integrate it into my Windows and Linux apps (written in PureBasic). The only things I find in the Examples folder are two folders BigPIC4 and EasyPIC4 ...

Bootloader files & documentation

I've installed µB 6.0.0.0. Where can I find the bootloader hex files, the source referred to in the announcement, and documentation?

Yes, I read that page but only found it after ordering.

Had I realized that the license was restricted to a single machine and that there was no bootloader I would not have ordered.

There is no need that you feel unsatisfied. Zoran, I'm not feeling unsatisfied (except for the missing bootloader and lack of a forum Ignore List). I'm merely saying that you should make clear at the point of purchase that the activation key is tied to the specific hard disk used in creating the te...

Well, maybe prospective buyers should use the search button So what search terms should a prospective buyer use? And where should they search for these search terms? Smart-assed non-answers from not-so-smart know-it-all-jerks are really not helpful. BTW, many forums allow users to create Ignore Lis...

You really should make this clear up front. I would have preferred to install on a PC that has no Internet connection and no email but it was not clear to me that I could generate the required hardware profile on one machine and then email it from another so I used a machine that does have Internet ...

There are chips available to add USB host to embedded systems.

Whether all or any of the above will work with your web-cam I can't say.

This same question was posted to the PicBasic forums a couple of days ago. That post indicated that an RF link is part of the scenario. I pointed that poster to an example posted by Bruce Reynolds showing how to decode a Holtek HT640 which uses a similar approach although with different details for ...

You might learn what you need by looking at this. http://www.mecanique.co.uk/products/usb/easyhid.html It generates code for the PC side (supports multiple languages) as well as basic code (supports 3 compilers) for the PIC side. While it doesn't support µBasic, it may still give you the general ide...
