Re: License nightmare with Mikrobasic PRO

I dont know if you folks had same issues with Mikroelektronika licenses, but i want to say clear here: the .key thing really is/was a mess, I had multiple problems with it too and had enough of it. And then the website announced at that time(2013): "If you choose Dongle Licensing option, you can re...

Re: Onewire Help Example Timing and DS18B20 resolution issue

I have some folders from 2013 where I tried to get that to work, I don't remember anymore witch is what, and where I ended. I'm sure it worked, but only for a limited time of sensors. I just remember that I had to replace the closed libraries with other ones, I see the name Bonca in the folders, I g...

Re: enc28J-60 and mcp23s17 both on the same SPI

Hello filip, I sent you my whole confidential secret hobby project in a Zip file. ( filip@mikroe.com ) There's still too much in it, I didn't "clean it out" to the bone to only demonstrate the misalign. But it shows the problem. Commenting out // my routine "init_GLCD" on line 101 of main.c makes yo...

Re: Mikro C license for sale, enough of it.

(1) MCHP has always supported all families with programmer support even before the actual devices were release by Programming through Pickit 2 PICkit3 ,IDC1 ICD 2 ICD 3 and RealIce from MPLAB and also from the standalone Programming utilities Where in your opinion MCHP were behind with the programm...

Re: Mikro C license for sale, enough of it.

...As far as the libraries go, they have been closed from the start, and we haven't made any promises to release source code. That being said, I understand your opinion not to agree with this. This is of course a management decision, and I respect that, but there are only 3 possibilities that I can...

Re: common ! where is the new PIC32 compilers release ?

Well then they should change the product page to reflect that. "Compiler is constantly improved and new functionalities are added with each new release." Should maybe be We update whenever we feel like it. I guess it depends on ones definition of constantly... Together with the claim: "Best ever re...

Re: Onewire Help Example Timing and DS18B20 resolution issue

1. The Help example for the Onewire Library is misleading when used with a DS18B20. Specifically, while... I never got exploring multiple DS18B20 SearchRom to work. After returning 3 or 5 serial numbers, it started returning the first serial number again. Can you please reply your experiences on th...

Re: Mikro C license for sale, enough of it.

Hello, Most of my problems are linked to exceptions caused by using/combining your closed libraries, everything is summed up in my previous posts here. I needed to invest time in replacing them with open libraries for GSM, LCD, MCP and now SPI+ETH to be able to debug and get it working. But I am als...

Re: Found some bugs in development environment

click, include existing file, click, and I see the existing file appearing in that folder. Good enough, no? Strange it doesn't forget to save it every time, after major edits it works, every time I had the problem was after commenting-out or uncommenting little parts of the code. Or after changing a...

Mikro C license for sale, enough of it.

After multiple documented problems with the MikroC closed libraries, serious shortcomings in the editor and programmer, and false responsiveness of the MikroE team for this, I think it's time to move to another platform or solution. Maybe it's all my fault, we'll see. What can I do with my MikroC US...

Re: enc28J-60 and mcp23s17 both on the same SPI

If I preferred to check and edit compilation *.asm or *.lst files I would not have payed for a license here.

As I expected, problems occured in the CS lines of the closed ETH library, see my other post.
somebody from the MikroE team with a solution?
