Re: Version 7.20 does not start on Win XP
It would have been really HELPFUL if you had told us IN ADVANCE that the new compiler versions would not run on Windows XP (in my case XP64) as then we would have known not to install them (I have the Pascal and C compilers) and suffered the same issue after installation of this new version 7.20.

Re: ERROR TO OPEN TOOLS USB HIS BOOTLOADER
I install into c:\program files (x86) and all of the tools on the Tools Menu work EXCEPT the USB HID Bootloader (USART Terminal gets a registry error but still opens fine each time). Looks like a bug to me.

Re: Bizarre Activation Licence Entry Dance
Well that is truly bizarre. The behaviour I described was consistent across all six "new activation" versions of PIC compilers. I am using Windows 7 (Professional), though I doubt that would make any difference. Being a Delphi developer since v1.0, the tab stop component issue seemed the only explan...

Re: ERROR TO OPEN TOOLS USB HIS BOOTLOADER
So please install mikroC for dsPIC compiler in the default install location: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Mikroelektronika Why does ME hard code the absolute path in the compiler? Why not use a relative path and then it shouldn't matter where the user decides to install it? Why does the installation p...

Hi, My colleague has answered you on the ticket. I'm sure the original poster is happy about that as he hasn't reappeared. But what of the rest of us? This is as bad as posters saying help with X and then posting "solved" without any clue as to how it was solved or what the real problem might have ...

Bizarre Activation Licence Entry Dance
1. Place cursor in Group 1. Enter alphanumerics. Tab highlights the just entered data (why?). 2. Second tab moves to Group 2. Enter alphanumerics. Cursor automatically jumps to Group 3 (nice). 3. Enter alphanumerics. Cursor automatically jumps back to Group 2 and highlights the data (what the?) 4. T...

Re: Most desired upgrades and enhancements for MikroE compil
Hi again, I would like to have a clarification. In my opinion porting the IDE to Apple or Linux means a whole new IDE or the use of and existing one like Eclipse. Then it applies to Windows too and becomes the most requested feature to add. Given that the compilers are written in Delphi, the change...
