Amidst a record-breaking heat wave (at least in our neck of the woods), we’re releasing Thermo 3 click, with the TMP102 IC
Smaller than a drop of sweat running down your temple, TMP102 is a digital temperature sensor from Texas Instruments.
Accurate within half a degree, its measurement range is between -25 and +85 degrees Celsius.
How many of you are now converting those numbers in your head? Here, we’ll make it easier: the range is from –13 to 185 degree Fahrenheit.
(The temperatures around here these days are somewhere in the upper range of the scale.)
Thermo 3 click communicates with the target board MCU through I2C pins and uses a 3.3V power supply. An additional Alert pin lets you set an interrupt, for using the board as a thermostat.
There’s also a jumper to specify the I2C address.
Details on the product page. The Libstock example is also ready.
Yours sincerely,
MikroElektronika
