The MikroElektronika and Upverter click board design competition starts today.
Whoa, it’s Tesla’s birthday. We didn’t plan this in advance — honestly — but what a day to start a click board design competition.
“Invention is the most important product of man’s creative brain," Tesla said.
And you know what else is true? Constraints drive creativity. Challenge yourself to bring something new to a lineup that already has over 130+ boards. The pinout and size of PCB — everything is standardized.
Also, since it’s a competition, you’ll be pitted against all sorts of Marconies and Edisons who will want to beat you in creating the one mikroBUS™ add-on board that will become a click™ board.
Especially when they see the list of prizes. It’s more than $6000-worth in total. How’s that for an incentive?
Another one is that you’ll design in Upverter. The browser-based platform is the future of EDA design. Cutting-edge software for designing cutting-edge products.
The winner will be chosen by a panel of MikroElektronika and Upverter judges. You’ll have the attention of our most senior engineers. We outlined some guidelines on what you should pay attention to, from coming up with an idea to the final touches.
The deadline is September 18, you can submit as many designs as you want by then — the more you submit the better chance of winning you have. Be as prolific as Tesla was with his patents.
Good luck!
Yours sincerely,
MikroElektronika
