Libstock was founded on a simple idea - we wanted to provide people with a place where they can share their projects, code examples, and ideas.
Today we are proud to announce that Libstock has over 2000 libraries and code examples.
When we launched Libstock in August 2011, we were hoping that it would reach the heights that
Top contributors
Like any community in the world, this one has its stars. The people who upload the most projects, and who are most active can be seen in the Top Contributors menu.
The MikroElektronika team takes the lead of course, with over 500 code examples. We must admit we're proud of that.
The second place goes to Shawon Shahryiar, who we previously wrote about. Shawon is keeping in steady in this position with 250 code examples. We can say that it will take a while to overrun him in the second place. Is someone up to the challenge?
The third position goes to Alcides Ramos with 99 code examples. You can see the rest of the list if you click here.
A bit of history
"We all now officially have the most convenient infrastructure for sharing and downloading code, and lots of other activities." This is what we said on the day we released Libstock. It still stands true.
The community got bigger and bigger over the years, and now, when we look back, a sense of accomplishment and pride fills us up. We hope that everyone who is a part of the Libstock community feels the same way.
If you haven't joined the community yet, you can always change that and create an account today.
Most downloaded
The Timer Calculator is the most downloaded project. It was downloaded 80950 times to be exact. That means there are over 80000 people in the world using it.
It's the most wanted tool on Libstock for good reason - a lightweight software which creates timer interrupts code for mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal.
Visit the "About Libstock" section if you want to find out more about it.
Yours sincerely,
MikroElektronika
