After nRF T and nRF C, we’re releasing nRF S — the chip is the same, the suffix letter denotes the antenna.
nRF S click is the third antenna option for those looking for a nRF24L01P module on a click board. This one carries an SNA antenna connector (the other two have either a PCB trace antenna or SMD chip antenna, nRF T click and nRF C click respectively).
Excluding the antenna it’s exactly the same click board like the other nRFs we have. The nRF24L01P module is designed for operation in the world wide ISM frequency band at 2.400 - 2.4835 GHz and has air data rates of 250 Kbps, 1 Mbps and 2 Mbps. It is suitable for ultra low power designs. Communication with the target board is realized through SPI lines.
The Libstock example demoes a wireless data acquisition device. Have a look at the video featuring the previous two nRF clicks. The same applies for this one:
An alternative to nRF click boards is ccRF click, carrying another 2.4 GHz transceiver, so check that one too.
