Spending your weekend in Paris? Skip the Eiffel tower, go for the Maker Faire!

This weekend at the Paris Maker Faire at Booth E11 in Hall 6, the Domotique Info team will present their SmartBoard for Sensors (SBS) -- a system that enhances commercial home automation hardware with click boards.
As an example, you could use Thunder click to ensure -- without having to program anything -- that your window shutters close down and all unnecessary appliances are switched off when a storm is approaching.
The SBS is a bridge between click boards (and gadgeteer modules) and standard commercial home automation systems. According to Nicolas Fovet from Dominique Info, a dozen sensors or actuator profiles are preloaded on the SBS. The user then sets microswitches into a desired profile, and simply inserts the click board of choice on the SBS module. The sensor outputs are translated from mikroBUS™ standard I2C/UART/SPI protocols, to home automation protocols like 0.10/Zwave/EnOcean/433Mhz RF.
Domotique-info is among the top five French blogs about home automation. We already wrote about their SBS system before but we haven't seen it in person. If you have a chance to go, let us know how it went!
Yours sincerely,
