MQTT Anywhere KIT is a great way to get started with building your custom IoT Communication-as-a-Service SIM-based LPWA device. It comes preinstalled with the Thingstream client SDK demo, which enables the device to connect to the Thingstream global MQTT network and connectivity tools straight out of the box. Global connectivity is achieved by connecting to the strongest GSM network available across over 600 networks worldwide.
The kit is compatible with various modules and types of cellular networks to choose from, such as 2G, 3G, 4G, or LTE Cat M cellular connectivity. We invite you to choose the one that best suits your application, but don't worry, you can upgrade it anytime by adding a new Click board™.
NOTE: Each MQTT Anywhere KIT comes with a Thingstream SIM card which allows 30 days of free access to the Thingstream global MQTT network and connectivity software tools.

MQTT Anywhere KIT enables low-cost, low-power IoT connectivity and simple software integration with the Thingstream MQTT broker and cloud-based data management platform. This kit also comes with a start-up package comprising - free Thingstream account activation, a Thingstream IoT SIM, and 30 days of free global cellular connectivity. The device is activated by a redemption unique ID to the SIM.
Each MQTT Anywhere KIT is based on the Flip&Click SAM3x (customized Arduino Due) and one Click board™ IoT device with matching antennas for GSM/LTE or GPS/GLONASS. This KIT is preconfigured with all the protocols and communications settings to connect with the Thingstream global MQTT network and Data Flow Manager. This feature is implemented via the Thingstream client SDK, which can be used to develop and customize the firmware in Arduino IDE. Results can be achieved quickly, even without a deep understanding of software engineering and web programming.
The Flip&Click SAM3x board is equipped with four mikroBUS™ sockets, leaving you with enough space for customization and upgrade of your device with more than 1.300 of additional Click boards. To find more examples and applications for customization, visit our Flip&Click SAM3x product page.
MQTT Anywhere provides an ultra-low power, secure IoT communication service using the MQTT-SN protocol over a private, secure communication channel which operates seamlessly across 600+ cellular carriers in 190 countries around the world.
Thingstream’s connectivity platform enables two-way intelligent communication between the device and IoT application, and with proven scalability, the platform is ideal for delivering mass IoT deployments. It doesn’t use TCP-IP; therefore, things are inherently more secure with no IP (Internet) dependency. Connectivity is provided via a proven, high-availability, high-performance global messaging platform.
