mikroATC is an Air Traffic Control System for Model Airplanes done by Andrew Hazelden, a very active community member.
mikroATC is a continuation of Andrew's UAV Ground Control Station project. The idea with mikroATC is to use the UART on the mikromedia board to receive the telemetry data from the airplanes using a radio modem. The microSD card in the mikromedia allows logging of all of the telemetry data so you can even replay a flight afterwards. Andrew experimented in the lab by connecting a serial GPS using a Mikromedia Connect Shield.
Project is entirely done in mikroC PRO for dsPIC and Visual TFT. Andrew used his favorite mikromedia for dsPIC33 board for this application.
We invite you to visit Andrew's blog and read about this project.
