Another gem from the Hackster.io competition.
HexiComm is another interesting Hackster.io project, the most advanced we’ve seen so far. It’s a wireless communicator, a sort of primitive mobile phone, intended for use in crowded areas where cell towers get overloaded.
The designer, Kenny Huang, somehow got hold of an early version of the small Hexiwear docking station, so you will get a sneak peak of it.
A Proto click is connected to the Docking station socket, while the rest of the hardware is third party. Namely, a nRF24L01 transceiver with an antenna.
Same as with the beer mug from yesterday, the project is developed in ARM Mbed.
The video is a bit silly, but the project is very well described and documented. Read the entire post on Hackster.io to get the details.
