Memory cards full of photos and wallets full of v cards, we're back from Maker Faire Rome.
According to reports, hundred thousand people visited the three-day Faire. Makers and hackers in all shapes and forms, from toddlers to old folks.
We were not completely alien to the Maker community to begin with, but this was the first time we put ourselves on the line, ready to listen and soak in every bit of it.
The feedback we got was overwhelmingly positive. Hundreds of people were sincerely delighted to discover us - primarily click boards™.
We held two workshops to give out more to people who were really curious.
And we also had the chance to meet and talk to many of our peers from companies like Arduino.cc, Atmel, Google, Intel, UDOO, TI and others. Who know what may spring out of it.
Now it's time to sort through all the impressions and choose the winners among the hundreds of people who submitted their ideas to get a chance to get a free Flip & click. The luckiest five will have the privilege of being the early adopters of one of the coolest boards shown on the Faire.
Yours sincerely,
MikroElektronika
