The temperature range of Temp-Hum 4 click is from -40°C to 85°C. That is enough even for some of the harshest environmental conditions.
The sensor IC used on the Temp-Hum 4 click is the HDC1010, a Low Power Humidity and Temperature Digital Sensor from Texas Instruments. This sensor is factory calibrated to 2% relative humidity and 0.2°C temperature accuracy.
A small, low-power sensor like this one is great for most IoT applications and hand-held devices. The sensing part of the HDC1010 sensor is located on the bottom part, which makes it more durable, and protected against dust, dirt and other environmental conditions.
