Secure 4 click
Secure 4 click includes the ATECC608A, a secure CryptoAuthentication™ device from Microchip, which is equipped with an EEPROM array which can be used for storing of up to 16 keys, certificates, consumption logging, security configurations and other types of secure data. Access to the various sections of memory can be restricted in several different ways and then the configuration can be locked permanently, to prevent changes.
EEPROM
You probably know that EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable read-only memory) is a type of non-volatile memory used in computers and other electronic devices for storing data that allows individual bytes to be erased and reprogrammed.
What you probably don’t know is this fun fact - the Stanford Graduate Students in Electrical Engineering (GSEE) host a dance (i.e. prom) called EEPROM since 2012. We bet they've made a lot of fun memories there.
