The new release v5.00 of AVR compilers brings so much more than the previous version.
Let us tell you only the summary, and you should visit our newly redesigned webpages of the compilers, and read more about what else is new.
We have introduced Project Explorer, a great new window for easier access to the examples and your projects. It is really fast and very convenient. It uses fast recursion algorithms for fast searching of your project files within folder tree. You'll get used to it quickly, and you'll love working with it. At least we do.
We have also upgraded our collection of libraries. We added Memory manager library, so you'll be able to use dynamic memory allocation in your AVR projects.
All graphic display libraries, including TFT and GLCD, have been enriched by additional functions, so you can now display images from external resources, such as MMC/SD cards, Serial Flash Memories, Compact Flash memories and other. You'll be able to create some truly fantastic applications.
New USB dongle licensing option allows you to bring your compiler with you wherever you go.
With your help, we have tracked down and fixed some issues that caused crashing of IDE, so you'll have a more stable environment to work in. We have increased the speed of reading MCL files even more, so your compiler will load and compile more quickly.
There's much more to say, but you should really download your favorite AVR compiler and start exploring the newly added features yourself!
Yours sincerely,
