NECTO USAGE STATISTICS!
Get Detailed Insights.
We are keeping up with the industry! You will be able to track usage statistics, such as build success rates and time spent in Planet Debug.
310 NEW MCUs!
Microcontroller Abundance.
Microchip's SAM MCUs are well-regarded for its versatility, performance, power consumption and connectivity. New batch of STM32 MCUs we supported are well-known for their Ultra-low power, Entry-level or High performance series!
New microcontrollers at your service!
This release includes bare metal support for a new family of MCUs from Microchip, the ATSAM (or SAM). With 153 new MCUs supported in NECTO, users can expect reliable coverage across the complete SAM MCU portfolio (M0, M4, & M7 ARM Cortex). Full mikroSDK2.0 support for 157 new STM MCUs, covering ADC, SPI, UART, I2C, PWM, GPIO, OW, DMA, and CAN functionalities from the `STM32G4`, `STM32L4`, `STM32C0`, and `STM32G0` families.
NEW NECTO INSTALLER!
FRESH INSTALLATION REQUIRED.
To make these upgrades possible, we've improved our installer. That means this time it won't update automatically from previous versions (v6.1 and earlier). Don't worry installing the new version is a breeze, plus - this installer requires a lot less memory!
Install what you need with new NECTO Installer
Updated Interface: NECTO Studio installer now boasts a completely revamped interface for streamlined user experience. Efficient Installation: only NECTO Studio application is installed initially, with additional packages installed on-demand.
Lighter Packages: core and system packages are now broken into smaller segments based on MCU Vendor documentation, enhancing installation speed and minimizing hard drive space usage.

ABOUT NECTO
NECTO Studio is a complete, cross-platform integrated development environment (IDE) for embedded applications providing everything necessary to start developing, and prototyping, including Click board applications and GUIs for embedded devices. Rapid software development is easily achieved as developers do not need to consider low-level code, freeing them up to focus on the application code itself. This means that changing the MCU or even the whole platform will not require developers to redevelop their code for the new MCU or platform. They can simply switch to the desired platform, apply the correct board definition file, and the application code will continue to run after a single compiling.
