In a span of two weeks, click boards appeared on two Maker Faires. First in Paris, then over the Atlantic way out west in Sillicon Valley. The other appearance was thanks to none other than Microsoft.

The Bay Area Maker Faire in San Mateo, which took place on May 16 and 17, is among the top three most important Maker Faires next to the New York and Detroit events. Thanks to Colin Miller from Microsoft (who wrote the MSDN blog post about Quail), visiting makers had the chance to get acquainted with click boards. A big roll-up banner graced the stand, and reportedly, Quail leaflets disappeared in no time.
Now all we have to do is wait and see if Quail and click boards will start popping up in maker's garages all across the valley. Maybe someone will start a Homebrew click board club :)

Two weeks prior, visitors to the Paris Maker Faire met click boards at the Domotique Info team's stand. It's the team that runs a popular French home automation blog while also working on their SBS (SmartBoard for Sensors) that bridges click boards with popular home automation hardware.
As the click board count continues to rise, apparently, so does their popularity. More to come.
