The new product in our series of Hall-effect-based Click Boards™, 3D Hall 2 click is a super accurate, magnetic-field-sensing Click Board™, capable of sensing the magnetic field strength in three perpendicular axes. Each of the axis has a separate Hall sensor, providing a very reliable magnetic-field-sensing in 3D space, a great basis for accurate angle calculations.
With even lower power consumption and the low number of pins, 3D Hall 2 Click makes for a perfect choice for a variety of IoT applications. Its internal Hall sensors are matched, making the Click board™ perfectly suited for various gaming applications (e.g. joysticks), HID (human interface device) based on accurate angle sensing, or general control applications such as contactless knobs.
3D Hall 2 Click features the low-power 3D magnetic sensor from Infineon. This exceptional sensor relies on a Hall effect to accurately sense magnetic-field changes in 3D.
