Bosch engineers do a wonderful job of combining multiple sensors with overlapping functionalities into a single chip, providing a more detailed picture of observed reality. We tried to build upon that philosophy with 10DOF click, a powerful inertial measurement unit based on Bosch technologies.
10DOF click is a sophisticated inertial measurement unit based on the Bosch BNO055 9-axis absolute orientation sensor. This sensor integrates a 16-bit gyroscope, a 14-bit 3-axis accelerometer, and a 3-axis magnetometer, all tied together by an ARM® Cortex®-M0 MCU enriched with Bosch Sensortec sensor fusion algorithms.

To provide an additional measurement to supplement the above, our developers decided to add a Bosch BMP180 digital pressure sensor as well. So in addition to gyro, acceleration and heading data, you'll be able to get altitude measurements as well.
The previously released Weather click carrying a Bosch sensor that detects humidity, pressure and temperature turned out to be a hit among clicks, so we're not expecting anything less with this one.
With so many sensors packed on a S-sized click board, there's many technical specs to go over, so head to the product page to get more details. The Libstock library and example will give you an idea on how to implement it.
