RFid Reader Board is a 125KHz RF transmitter and reciever, featuring EM4095 controller chip. The reader has three main functions: energizing, demodulation and decoding. Reader can be connected to microcontroller or PC for encoding the data read from RFid tags.
Read signal from RFid tags is Manchester-coded. More information can be found in the provided examples and transciever chip datasheet.
Board is designed to use 5V power supply only. Be careful to use voltage translators on communication lines when connecting it to 3.3V systems.
Examples provided with this board will show you how to connect the RFid Board to a microcontroller easily. Each example contains a detailed description of the relevant program including comments. All these examples can be downloaded from this page as well.
