We are happy to announce that new Visual TFT 2.30 has been released!
Lot has happened since the last release of Visual TFT software, and we are happy to introduce so many new features for the first time.
We introduced the support for 9 new TFT controllers, with 4 new display sizes, making it 10 controllers total. This will give you much wider choice in making your TFT devices, especially Human-To-Machine Interfaces.
Visual TFT now supports code generation for the new mikroElektronika ARM compilers, which expands the coverage to all major microcontroller architecture.
New mikromedia for Stellaris® M3 with ARM® Cortex™-M3 microcontroller from Stellaris® is also supported in the software, as well as the upcoming EasyMx PRO v7 development board for Stellaris®.
Visual TFT now recognizes projects created with custom Board definitions (i.e. projects created on other computers with custom board setup) and automatically adds to existing board definitions. We added Zoom toolbar (slider) for better zoom control. But probably the most useful new feature is that events which are already created can be assigned to multiple objects, by just selecting them from drop down box in Object Inspector. This will reduce your code size and enable you to more easily process events.
We fixed all reported bugs and made sure to increase the overall stability of the IDE and quality of generated code.
New kits with mikromedia for Stellaris® M3 are also available on the Kits tab, and enable you to save from $30 to $80!
We invite you to visit the Visual TFT webpage and download the new version.
