Measure your heart rate in real time. Heart Rate 7 click is an optical biosensor that can give you accurate data about your heart rate.
"If biometrics are your thing, the first click of this week will make your heart skip a beat." is what we said a couple of years ago when we released our first Heart Rate click, and that sentence still holds true.

Heart Rate 7 click in our newest optical biosensor that measures one's heart rate. For the optical front end, Heart Rate 7 click uses Vishay's VEMD8080 photosensor, a high-speed PD element, with the enhanced sensitivity in the visible light spectrum. The Click board™ also uses two VLMTG1400, high-brightness true-green LEDs, specially designed for the HRM measurement applications, offering a narrow band of green light wavelength.

How to use it?
All you need now is to know how this Click board is used. So, we prepared a small list of actions:
1. Download our MikroPlot app from Libstock and install it on your computer.
2. Place Heart Rate 7 click on the mikroBUS™ socket on the development board of your choice. For this post, we used Clicker 2 for MSP432 and USB UART click.
3. Place your finger on the sensor on top of the Click board, like in the picture. Do pay attention to how much pressure you apply to the sensor. Too much pressure could give you incorrect readings.
4. Wait a few seconds, and see the readings on your computer screen.
The first electrocardiograph was the size of a room. Can you imagine a heart rate monitor that size? Now compare that to the size of your wrist monitor you use while you exercise. Science has really come a long way. You can join the development by using Heart Rate 7 click. Prototype and make your own heart rate measurement system.
