"Both a BigPic5 and an EasyPic 6 were used as controller boards in my recently completed artwork called "Create Life". This piece won first prize in the juried show at the Newport Art Museum , Newport, Rhode Island (USA)."
"I felt it might be interesting for you to know where your products are used."
This is the ending of an E-mail from Robert Kieronski, engineer and artist who has built a great pinball machine called "Create Life" using EasyPIC6 and BIGPIC5 Development Systems.
"Create Life" is a pinball machine of entirely new design. It is based on the famous Urey-Miller experiment of the 1950s. In that experiment amino acids (chemicals of life) were synthesized from early-earth atmospheric components. The object of the game, of course, is to create life.
It was scheduled to appear again shortly at the Charles River Museum of Science and Industry (Waltham, Mass) during a special exhibition.
The machine looks amazingly cool, and is really worth to see. We invite you to visit the creator's website and see more photos and read more about this great project.
