Our range of audio and video clicks has just received a new member – a matchbox-sized stereo amplifier for enjoying your favorite playlist.
StereoAmp click, as the name indicates, is a stereo amplifier and it features two LM48100Q-Q1Boomer ICs by Texas Instruments.
Stereo amplifiers have two output channels, one for the left speaker and one for the right. They take low-level signals and raise them to a level that is high enough for your speakers and in turn high enough for your hearing, so you can listen to your favorite song.
The click has a 3.5mm input jack for connecting it to your computer and two pairs of screw terminals so you can connect passive speakers. It has 32 step volume control and communicates with the MCU through I2C.
Do you have a good playlist ready?
