See how the power consumption of Flip & click compares in relation to other Arduino boards.
"Arduino boards: are those little things energy efficient or are they power guzzlers?" asks Teo from microcontroller-projects.com. Then he proceeds with a comparative test of nine different Arduino originals and spinoffs, Flip & click is included.
The current draw of different boards is tested at various voltages.
Having a 32-bit MCU, Flip & click is seemingly not comparable with 8-bit Arduinos. However, at higher voltages the switching-mode power supply comes into play, and both Arduino Due and Flip & click get better performance.
It's also interesting to see that Flip & click does slightly better than the original Arduino Due.
