Hi - it would be good if the USART terminal could remember its settings. Also currently it always disconects when exiting debug mode - it would be much better if the disconect was optional and controlled via a tick box.

A big revision of the USART Terminal Tool is in progress as we speak, your suggestions have been added to our list.

This will be done for sure.

Also currently it always disconects when exiting debug mode - it would be much better if the disconect was optional and controlled via a tick box.

We considered several options for this problem.
Some users were demanding that Terminal should always disconnect on close...
They are using other Terminals parallel with mikroElektronika USART Terminal - and if our Terminal stays connected then they have problem.

We decided to keep automatic disconnecting, but we added option for
AutoConnect - when Terminal is opened.

Here is the look of the current (working) version of the Terminal:

Some other stuff

It would be nice if the window can be sizeable.
And a check box if you want the receive window to type out Receive: for every line.
And also a check box if you want the HEX values to type out 0x before every value.

for easy reading of the data
delete the word sent and receive at the beginning of the line
just write in blue the send data
and write in red the receive data
all in the same window for a good view of synchro

just write in blue the send data

Send and receive data are in two separated windows, you can use AddTime option for a good view of synchro.
