Default layout can not be saved

Hi,

When I try to save default layout, compiler say : Cannot delete system section ! I understand why ... but default layout have some problems .

When I switch to Debug layout or MaxCode, the IDE resize following my screen resolution. In default layout, a part from IDE (bottom part) missing.

Workaround :

Copy and rename Debug layout in the same folder (Layouts) with new name (User_Layout)
Start compiler , modify User_Layout after user wishes and save new layout.

Archive old Default layout (original) and rename User_Layout in Default layout.

Now everything will be OK !!

Florin,
It is not intended to modify the default layout. Simply, it is used when you want to recover the windows (in case you've been dragging them too much).
In default layout, a part from IDE (bottom part) missing.
What do you mean "missing"?

The idea is that you arrange the windows as you like then save the layout under any name. Next time you restart the IDE it will be as you set it up. No need to copy-paste anything.

Correct me if I misunderstood you.

Your question about the resolution:
We will fix the resolution to be working fully at 1024x768.
