[mC 8051] lst vs asm

Assembly file is in new compiler a real one (i.e. contains only assembly instructions and comments) while simulation/debugging is performed on file named .lst. That's certainly a very good solution and one could use the .asm file with other tools. Only why the assembly file is incomplete? And why the .asm file instead of .lst one is invoked with a button of Debugger toolbar?
