Mikroprog with Necto under Linux

I have slowly started to migrate to Necto Studio now that 1.5 has been released and it includes features from the MikroE Pro compilers.
I use Linux for my workspace, and currently run a virtual machine with windows 7 to use the MikroC compilers with Mikroprog. This option works perfectly, but with Necto being Linux native, it's more convenient to use it.
I'm curious if Mikroprog can run under Linux? I'm aware of the GDB server option to use it with Necto, however I haven't tried to set it up yet. Is it possible to run mikroprog under Linux, or would I be wasting my time?

Hi,

I'm afraid this is not possible as the programming is is carried out by the mikroProg Suite which runs only under Windows.

Regards,
Filip.

Good to know, at least I didn't spend a whole day trying!
Looks like I'll be picking up the PIC CodeGrip soon!
