BIGAVR2 USBASP as programmer

#1 Post by Ajatol » 16 Dec 2012 03:26

I have BIGAVR2 development board. For some reason I can not use built in programmer and want to use USBASP programmer. Then I connected my USBASP programmer directly to MCU board (mega128 by soldered wires) to appropriate pins. Unfortunately my software does not recognize microprocessor. Programmer USBASP is working on another development board so is fine, connections was checked few times and no faults found, microprocessor on MCU card is ok (because I can see on leds that last program is executing).
Signal clock is from oscillator. What I have done wrong ?.

Hello,

Please can you tell me how did you connect your programmer with BIGAVR board?
I believe that your programmer is ICSP only.

Best regards.

Problem has been resolved. Mega128 has separate ISP interface on diffrent pins.
