PIC12F1840 MikroICD support

#1 Post by MadHead » 13 Sep 2014 12:35

The PIC12F1822 and the PIC12F1840 are supported in latest MikroPascal/MikroProg release, but the 1840 doesn't work.
I have attached a screenshot.
(the 12F1822 is working)

Have you any idea for fixing it?

Best regards, Tamás

One more issue... :(
The 12F1822 is supported, but after i compile the project, de CODE area is empty and the software doesn't work.
I have attached a screenshot too.

The Release building type is perfect.

Hi,

Please find the fix in the attachment, it works for me

From the attachment, copy the mikroProg Suite For PIC.exe to the installation folder of the mikroProg Suite,
mikroEDLL.dll to the installation folder of the mikroPascal PRO for PIC and P12F1840.mlk to the Defs subfolder in the mikroPascal's installation folder.

Backup the original files just in case.

Regards,
Filip.

Dear Filip!

The memory dump list after compiling is empty. The second issue isn't solved with your patch.
I've attached two screenshot. (as you see: 12F1820 uC, Building type: ICD Debug and Debugger: MikroICD)

The Release building is fine and programmable via Mikroprog.

Have you any idea?

Regards, Tamás

I have tried to compiling the "Calculator" demo projects and the ICD Debug build is fine (the bump list isn't empty)
I would like to ask a functioning patch for these uP: 12F1822, 12LF1822, 12F1840 and 12LF1840.

I need to test the software and hardware environment with these different uP (for example the energy conversation).

Hi,

The fix that I have given in my last post works just fine here, it enters the mikroICD mode and executes line by line.
Can you enter the ICD mode at all ?

Regards,
Filip.
