Hello,

Yes it is possible to use our compiler + mikroProg Suite for ARM to program/debug launch pad with LM4F120 controller.

At the moment you only need latest exe for mikroProg Suite for ARM.
Please check the attachment for new exe file and dll which are required to program/debug this controller.

This is only temporary solution and new version of mikroProg Suite for ARM will have this implemented.
Also this is only beta version of the exe, use it on your own responsibility.

Exe and dll should be copied into installation folder of mikroProg Suite for ARM, and dll should be copied into installation folder of the compiler too.

Best regards.

forget that.

It runs on both.

Maybe there is a problem when other devices connected to usb.

I can not really reproduce that.

I tryed to get a connection to TI Stellaris Launchpad with the current software ("mikroC PRO for ARM" 4.0.0 and newest "mikroProg Suite For ARM").
It doesn't work.

Then i tryed it whith changing the *.exe and *. dll from above.
It works apparently in this combination (i tested only load, earase and write in mikroProg Suite).

But the release of this two files above is meantimes older than the files which are delivered with the current software.
So maybe some new feauteres from the current software doesn't work ?
And the two files were beta-Status.

So please please integrate the possibility to use TI Launchpads regular with the next update of mikroC PRO and mikroProg Suite.

1000 Thanks !

I am having exactly the same problem using latest Mikro C arm install, on 3 different computers and 4 separate TI Connected Launch Pad boards
Mikro Prog each time just sits and waits and then says Debug Timed Out.

This is getting annoying . I have had Mikroc ARM for quite a few months now and not been able to get a project working.

And it is not right to only test on your own equipment as this is creating a monopoly please make it work.

Hi,

Can you please tell me which mikroProg Suite are you using?

Also, can you attach some screen shot of your Suite window?

Did you try to use some other software with our programmer?

Best regards,
Aleksandar

We are using the TI connected launchpad not me Debugger hardware.
That is the problem I contacted ME earlier to make sure it was supported before purchasing and they said yes.

Hardware is http://www.ti.com/ww/en/launchpad/launc ... .html#tabs

connected by onboard ICDI.

ME Debugger finds and identifies the target but then times out and wont program.

Hi,

Can you please tell me do you have mikroProg for STM or mikroProg for TIVA programmer?

Since this board have TIVA MCU on it.

Also can you please attach the screen shot of the mikroProg Suite Options window?

Best regards,
Aleksandar

The board has a built in debugger I do not have a MikroProg debugger as there is no where to plug one in on a Texas Intruments board.

The debugger is the same as the one inside the mikro prog any way.

Hi,

Can you tell me do you have problem with programming this board in Release or Debug mode?

Did you try to use some other software for programming your board with our HEX from the compiler?

Best regards,
Aleksandar

I have only programmed it in release mode, that is why I cant understand the message debug timeout coming up.
The board will program with the ti UniFlasher with no problem but Mikroprog identifies the correct chip but wont program it.

I have noticed that this was mentioned several times in other forum sections about the Connected Launchpad as it was listed on the website but your software did not support it yet.

Hi,

Can you please send me the screen shot of the mikroProg Suite windows and the Options window?
I would like to see what are your settings for this board?

Also, have you try to program this board directly from the mikroProg Suite and not use directly programming from the compiler?

Best regards,
Aleksandar
