And I just take two of Mikroe Fingerint click modules, but there are no software library, no drivers, nothing...

The only answer I got from MikroElektronika over the phone and by contacting support was that they will publish application for Fingerprint click "soon", but they could not told me what "soon" means, week, two weeks, month... and then I found this post from the last year, so soon also could be a year?

I would kindly ask for any library, any code that anybody have and can be used with Mikroe Fingerprint click (on their Clicks or Arduino, Windows... whatever), please post it/reply?

It's very strange that this module can be bought in mouser, digikey, etc. but then the software is not available in libstocks (where the datasheet points to). I was just about buying this module when I've realized this.

Please I'd would like to know an estimation date for the release of the software so that I can check back.

Thank you!

Hello,

@vvlada, this topic was not about Fingerprint click, but about a scanner. We had released a Fingerprint click this year.

@rogermanlleu, we are about to release the PC application to help you scan the fingerprint. The example is planned, but I believe you can work with the documentation for the module, for establishing the communication with it. Therefore, it is available for sale.
For more news you can check our website, and also, look at the LibStock for new interesting project:

Bet you believe in peace on earth as well... looks like vvlada was trying to prove a point

Drudging up a VERY old post because there is STILL no promised software or even libstock examples, glad I checked before clicking the purchase button, could have been a VERY costly mistake.

I have been MIA for a long time, looks like for good reason, this company is only about quantity not quality anymore, promise of easy setup and examples no wonder people are switching to Arduino... at least they can send out parts with documentation and examples including software, would not doubt it at all if I found that they also came up with it first.

Hello,

We appreciate the feedback.

If you want, the code can be sent on your email, since it is still a beta version.

I apologize for the inconvenience with our product.

Best regards,
Biljana

And now it is almost a year and no code posted on web site?!?

Please, do send me the beta version you have, at least, since those finger clicks are useless without a code!
