Hi

Is the STM32F746 Discovery board supported with the Visual TFT software?
Any guides or tutorials to implement it?

Hi,

The thing which you will have to know is that you can only use Visual TFT with our compiler.
In Visual TFT and compiler at this moment we do not have implemented this type of libraries for integrated display controller on ARM.

I will suggest this to our developers to consider implementing such a interface, as a option in Visual TFT.

I would appreciate it if you could forward that to the software developers.

When I bought the software i felt that the software forces one to use your development boards, and I am sure the main goal is to implement it into a custom based PCB + design which goes out into the field one day.

I read somewhere that the STM32F746 discovery board got released after your Visual TFT update which is one of the reasons that display driver was not integrated into VisualTFT.

Looks like the VisualTFT software has last got an update a very long time ago.

Hope you can forward it to developers and to see it it integrated soon into your software.

Please ask developers to integrate the STM32F746 Discovery Board display and touch driver.

Hope to see it implemented soon as the VisualTFT display drivers list is not very long at the moment.

Also looks like the Visual TFT had a supported drivers update a very long time ago.
