As you know there are many cheap tft screens having ili93xx driver chip. These tft boards has simple spi interface for graphics, touch and sd card. I can't understand why visual tft doesn't want to support this cheap devices having spi. You are losing market and we are losing too. We selected mikroelectronica as our development platform. You say we are taking this into wish list. I can't pay 99 usd + shipment for your 3.5" tfts. there are many tft boards from different vendors under 10 usd with free shipment. If i need detailed gui i buy cheap 7" android tablet and write my GUI on it lower than 30 usd. I want you brief explanation of why visual tft doesn't support tft boards having ili9341 driver + touch and sd card. Dont lose your customers.

Indeed, adding support for ILI9341 in SPI mode is for some time on our wish list, but like you already know so far our software developers didn't add support for neither one standard TFT display driver in SPI mode (like ILI9341) in Visual TFT software (not counting FT800).

We have a lot of ongoing projects and our software developers are giving their best to support existing software and compilers in the best possible way.
Unfortunately, at this moment, adding support for ILI9341 in SPI mode isn't our top priority.
