help for a noob

Okay, so i have spend tons of money on my mikroC pro compiler, the Visual TFT software and an easyPIC fusion dev board. I start the TFT software, select the dev hardware and my MCU. I create a screen with buttons on it. I don't have any events or crazy stuff set. Just a screen with my buttons so that i can see what it looks like on my dev boards tft screen. I tell the tft software to compile and the compiler opens with my tft code. I build and program the fusion board and........ nothing. I get a white blank tft screen. No screen like i set up in the tft software. Just a nice blank white screen. I have the sw11 dips set to enable the tft. What is going on? I just want to see what my layout looks like on the tft before I get into events and crap. can anyone help steer me in the right direction as to what is going on? Thanks guys!
