hello,

I never used MikroE CD or DVD ..
because too many update through the WEB
and now, it is easy to save data on USB disk 1To or USB Key 32 or 64Go..

all information on MikroE web site are enough..
no need to send an obsolete CD or DVD..

Today .. CD & DVD are out ...

the main questions are :
- wich is the more peredurable information support now ?
- Within next 5 years, does CD & DVD will exist anymore ?
- is a USB reliable along the time ?

my opinion about the Cloud .. the worst place to store personnal datas or industrial datas

some advise about this problem ?

Hi,

Yes, this is an interesting discussion.

As you maybe remember, the floppy discs were standard about two decades ago, they were replaced by the DVDs.
The DVD will be replaced by another media, that's for sure.

We must pay attention to the technology advancement and bring the appropriate solution to our customers.

Regards,
Filip.

I just purchased another compiler and MikroProg from you and I'm glad there is still some form of physical media present. Whilst I do download from the internet my blood runs cold with the thought of not having physical media. I even have one PC that'll never be allowed on any network on principal.

BTW whilst I know it's off topic everything worked brilliantly right out of the box for me. Cheers! :D
Why use a half a dozen transistors when 3 billion will do. :-)
